I consider myself a mountain “gourmand”. I’m excessively passionate about it, but I try to consume it with moderation and respect. My name is Aleix Vilardebò, and I am a Climbing Guide and Mountain Guide with AEGM and UIMLA accreditations.
Additionally, I am an audiovisual producer, and when I’m not hanging from a wall, I’m filming a documentary or a commercial.
I’ve been climbing for almost 25 years, and I enjoy all its different modalities. I’ve climbed all over the world: Himalayas, America, Europe, New Zealand, Alps, etc., but I am deeply in love with all the walls and mountains back home.
After a long time enjoying the mountains for my own pleasure and learning little by little, one day I decided to train myself to be able to share it.
Sharing has been innate in me for as long as I can remember. Whether it’s through a camera, tied to the other end of a rope, or making faces to show I’m having a blast. Therefore, I don’t believe in just taking people to the mountains and climbing without sharing.
I believe that trust is something that must be earned, and I believe in the relationships that are built upon it. And that the mountains will always bring us good friends.
Excellent experience! We did a multi-pitch course with some friends and I can only recommend it. Aleix is patient and attentive, adapts to the group's pace, and explains all the techniques in a clear and practical way. Looking forward to more, thank you so much!
